How It All Began

My yoga journey began in 2017 after a knee injury meant I had to say goodbye to my dancing days. I was looking for something to fill the gap and keep me active when a friend recommended trying Ashtanga yoga. I had explored a few other yoga styles in the past, but none had quite clicked. Ashtanga, however, felt like coming home—it had a natural rhythm and flow that reminded me of dancing and I was hooked from the start.

Inspired by how transformative the practice was for me, I decided to deepen my understanding and completed a teacher training course. My training was with a highly experienced senior yoga teacher registered as a member with Yoga Alliance Professionals, who brought over 25 years of expertise to guide me through the process.

In recent years, I’ve seen a growing demand for accessible yoga, particularly chair yoga, which is fantastic for individuals with limited mobility or those looking for a gentler practice. To meet this need, I’ve qualified in chair yoga instruction and I love helping people discover how yoga can be adapted to suit all abilities and bring its benefits to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level.
